Jill McGrale Maher, M.S., BCBA, Executive Director
Ms. McGrale received her Master’s degree and completed coursework for the doctoral program in Developmental and Child Psychology from the University of Kansas and has her BS in Special Education/Elementary Education from Keene State College. She has nearly 30 years’ experience working with students with autism and other developmental disorders with varying degrees of learning and behavioral needs, both in private and public settings.
Ms. McGrale Maher has consulting appointments in a variety of states nationally and has conducted a wide range of applied research. Her areas of interest and expertise include program and system development, the development of programs to decrease challenging behaviors, developing teaching programs for students of all learning profiles and levels, designing programming to promote independence and success in inclusive environments, teaching social skills, conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and developing and implementing staff and parent education programs.
In addition to her wide array of clinical skills, Ms McGrale Maher also has experience in organizational behavior management and has started several programs in public schools for students with autism based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
On a personal note, Ms. McGrale Maher lives in southern New Hampshire. In her free time, she loves being with her 20 year old daughter who is a college student, family and friends. She enjoys biking and is an avid runner.
