Kevin Hardy, Education Director, MS, Ed.
Kevin received his Master of Science degree in Education from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History with minors in Psychology and Coaching from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Kevin holds current Massachusetts Department of Education Certification as an Educator of Students with Severe Disabilities (All Levels). Kevin serves Crossroads school as special education administrator. Kevin has over 10 years experience working with children with autism and their families in various capacities. He has had experience as a Teacher, Job Coach, Home Therapist, Residential Supervisor, Public School Consultant and Director of Education. Kevin has extensive experience in developing, training, implementing and monitoring behavior modification programs using the techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In addition, he has significant expertise in creating curricula to meet IEP objectives for a wide range of learners. At Crossroads, Kevin has designed, developed, and implemented new services in the areas of curriculum, progress monitoring and reporting and staff training and supervision. Kevin has trained public school staff on implementation of the techniques of ABA in the classroom and has presented at both Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and International Association for Behavior Analysis conferences. In his free time Kevin enjoys travel, reading and coaching. He currently coaches the varsity boy's soccer team at Marlborough High School. Kevin played four years of soccer at Marist and was Captain of the 1997 Division 1 Soccer Team.
