In the spring of 2006, a group of Crossroads parents and school administrators gathered together to form the official Crossroads Fundraising Committee. The committee worked together to organize two inaugural fundraising events in the summer and fall of the same year. In the summer, they established the "On Par to Make a Difference" golf tournament. In the fall, the group held "Modeling Young Minds Fashion Show Brunch".

Both events featured silent auctions for items that were generously donated from a variety of local and national businesses.

The inaugural events were an enormous success. These two events alone orchestrated by the newly formed fundraising committee raised over $21,000!

These proceeds were used to purchase:
• Augmentative communication devices
• Sensory integration equipment
• Treadmill
• Exercise bike
• Occupational and physical therapy equipment
• Educational software
• Library books
• Various classroom materials

The fundraising committee successfully raised $22,000 from the "On Par To Make a Difference Golf Tournament" and "Modeling Young Minds Fashion Show" in August and September of 2007.

The fundraising committee focuses its efforts on these two signature events each year.

All families are encouraged and welcomed to participate in the fundraising committee.
