This year we hope you will join us virtually or in person for our 9th Annual 5K and Family Fun Day on June 6th!
In 2020, more than 250 participants joined Crossroads virtually and raised over $25,000 for individuals with autism. Despite the challenges we faced with COVID-19, there was nothing that could stop us from planning a fun, interactive event while social distancing. We loved the virtual option so much, we decided to give our participants the choice to join us virtually again. We were amazed at how communities rallied around us, and neighborhoods came together. We will have more information on the in-person option as we get closer to race day.
We are offering virtual and in-person registration options to provide our community with the flexibility to make the best decision for themselves and their families, it is important to us that our participants register with confidence and feel safe!
We received recent guidance from the state of Massachusetts letting us know a staggered start time will be required for all races in the coming months. This means, when you register to sign up to run in the 5K, you will need to register for a specific time. For example, the first wave of runners will start between 8:30 AM and 9 AM.
Please reach out to Sarah Andrukonis at Sandrukonis@crossroadsschoolma.org, with any registration questions.
Funds raised by this event are important to Crossroads to ensure we can continue providing the best services and supports to individuals with autism. This year is an especially big year for Crossroads as we complete a new Strategic Plan and prepare to expand our programs beyond our Day School and the home and community-based services provided throughout MA by Crossroads Community Solutions. With your support, we look forward to opening a center to provide early intervention services later this year.
We hope you will get in on the fun and make a difference while helping us raise funds and awareness for Crossroads.
“Shane’s team exemplifies passion, knowledge, caring, joy, and enthusiasm on a daily basis! There is no doubt that they want the best from him as much as I do. Everyday is another step toward his full potential. They are always willing to go above and beyond. I can’t thank them enough and am happy to show my support” – Tina Maturah, Family Fun Day Chair
About the 5K & Family Fun Day:
Every year, our community comes together to enjoy a day of games, activities, and exercise. It’s the generosity of the many people and organizations that support this event that greatly assist our ability to provide additional curriculum and programming for our students.
